Little Guilin

Yeay! it's holiday today! after such a looongg time...How i wish every week could be like this, with another holiday comin up in 2 days time =)

Remember i mentioned about this place called little Guilin, yep, right up there, it's the pic. Doesn't really look nice there:s, but then it's not that nice either in actual fact haha...but it's really not bad considering there's not many natural places in this little island.

So here's d story how i ended up in this place. Last friday, i was planning to go for mass after work at St. Mary's of the Angels church in Bukit Batok (BB). So of course the only way was to take the company bus which goes to BB area. After asking d bus driver, i took the bus no. 2, which goes to BB mrt. Well, it did go to BB mrt...but after almost an hour :s:s, which means i wouldn't be able to make it for the mass if i alight at BB mrt and took bus from there, coz the mass is at 5.30, and it was already 5.20 then. So, call me foolish, but i thought why don't try my luck and see where this bus goes after BB mrt, hoping it would go somewhere nearer to the church then perhaps i could walk from there. Of course it turned out to be a foolish decision, since the bus didn't go anywhere near the church but it went to Bukit Gombak mrt instead :s

Anyway, it passed throught this little lake by a cliff, a little cliff and it looked quite serene...So, i decided to walk there from d mrt after buying some bread since i was quite hungry then *mm i got hungry pretty often these days, which is good :)*

The place was nice, green and quiet. I could see no one but a man who seemed to be meditating :s. I sit at the side of the lake and admired the nature's beauty for a while...ooo sound so drama huh haha....but it was refreshing anyway =)

By the way, Guilin is a place somewhere in China which has a very beautiful landscape. *i didn't know that :p* I just searched d net hehe...

Well, i plan to go to some other places around...but that'll have to wait till i finish my report which is due in a week arrgggghhhhh..... Snow city..i'm comin... ;)
